Nursery & Children in Worship
Infant Nursery/Toddler Nursery
Our nursery consists of two separate rooms joined by a dutch door, allowing toddlers and infants to be kept safely apart. The activities in the Worship Center are broadcast into the nursery via closed circuit television. We have a private area in our first nursery for nursing mothers.
We have a nursery staff of volunteers who will take good care of your children while you worship in the Worship Center just a few steps away. Parents are given a pager, so they never have to wonder if their child is crying. We also have extra measures such as security cameras for added child safety and protection.
Children and Worship
Children are important to the people of Rosewood. Worship is important to us too. To teach our children what worship is, a unique experience for children using creative visual materials is offered during our worship service through the school year for children ages three through the 1st grade. Children and Worship opens their minds to wondering about God’s Word through crafts and creative teaching from the Bible using a variety of materials. The goal of Children and Worship is not to keep the kids busy while the adults worship in the Worship Center–this experience seeks to prepare children for participation in our regular worship services. Children are dismissed from the worship center after sharing the praise time with adults. For more information, go to: www.childrenandworship.org.
KOW (Kids Own Worship)
For the past several years, we have been providing Kids Own Worship (KOW) for 2nd through 5th graders during our morning service each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. We have adopted a new curriculum called Rio that fosters a deeper relationship with God and a life of faith that is rich and full. Kids learn how to experience God, discern His voice, and know the Spirit’s powerful work in their lives. Children are dismissed from the worship center after sharing the praise time with adults.
