ROSEWOOD REFORMED CHURCH PRAYER LINE

This coming Sunday, May 30, we will have one morning service at 10:00 a.m. We will be honoring those who have served in our armed forces on this Memorial Day Sunday.

1. We express our sympathy to the friends of Marcia D who passed away last Saturday, May 22 at age 67. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 26, at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids.

2. Lyn D will be going back to the Mayo Clinic this Wednesday for a follow-up visit and expects to return on the weekend. Pray for her complete recovery.

3. Sarah K is getting her blood counts checked again today, and if they are good she will be starting her 9th cycle of treatment this evening. She plans to return to CHOP mid June for additional tests and scans. Pray that Sarah's counts will be normal and she will be well.

4. Sarah K was released from the hospital last Thursday after IV treatment for an infection in her abdomen. She will be on oral antibiotics for two weeks. Pray that the infection goes away and stays away.

5. Pray for a woman who had successful surgery for breast cancer last week Wednesday and is recovering at home. Pray that no further treatment will be necessary.

6. Bob K will be having outpatient rotator cuff surgery on Tuesday, June 1. Pray that the surgery goes well and the his pain is manageable afterward.

7. Benny M is scheduled for major surgery on June 4 in Holland Hospital to help with his pain management. He will be in the hospital 3-4 days. Pray that this surgery will be effective in giving him some relief.

8. Chuck S will be undergoing surgery to receive a pacemaker/ defibrillator in the near future for treatment of an irregular heart beat. Pray that this treatment will be effective.

9. Darcy G requests prayer for a good friend who is 21 weeks pregnant and is facing some difficult complications. Pray for encouragement and strength for the whole family.

10. Dorothy B requests prayer for her youngest son, Bob D (also the brother of Roger D), who is undergoing outpatient chemotherapy for cancer in both lungs and in his stomach once a week. Pray that it will be effective in shrinking his cancer.

11. Jill H is requesting prayers for her sister-in-law, Mary Lou, who is receiving chemo for stage IV ovarian cancer, which has spread to her lungs. She completed her 3rd round of chemo and is responding well to her treatment.

12. Benny M is under care at Providence Healthcare and Rehab Center . Pray that his pain will be managed well.

13. Von V is receiving care at Sunset Manor. Pray that she will be free from infection and completely recover.

14. Bob W is receiving therapy at the Railside Living Center,.

15. Mary Hinken is receiving care at Royal Park Place. Pray for encouragement and strength in her life.

16. Ed W is making progress learning to walk with his prosthetic leg at The Laurels in Hudsonville. Pray that he will be able to walk without help.
