Prayer

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.  — 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

We all turn to prayer when we are in trouble…but prayer is bigger and better than that…it’ a way of life…practicing the presence of God. The prayer ministry at Rosewood Church seeks to integrate prayer into every part of life. For those special times when we need a quiet place, we have a Prayer Room conveniently located next to our foyer where people gather before and after worship. During the week, our church staff gathers in this room for prayer from 10:30 – 11:00 most mornings.

The Prayer Line (669-6610) is a part of our voice-mail system that provides information about members of our congregation and others connected to our church who have a need for prayer. The Prayer Line is up-dated usually twice a week, most often on Monday and Thursday, to provide current information. Arrangements for funeral home visitation are included when appropriate. If you have an e-mail address and want to join us in prayer for these needs, we will send you a copy of the Prayer Line whenever it is updated. Send a request to Pastor Howard at hmoths@rosewoodchurch.org. Currently around 150 families of our church receive the Prayer Line list by e-mail.

If you have a prayer request, please call the church office at 669-6690 or send your request to Pastor Howard at hmoths@rosewoodchurch.org. Please let us know if you want your request to be shared only in our staff prayer time or on the Prayer Line. We respect your privacy, but we want to pray for you when you have a need.
