After meeting in a local school for the first five years of our life together, we
moved into our home [map]
at the corner of Rosewood and 28th Avenue in Jenison in 1972. The facility consisted
of the current sanctuary (although you wouldn't recognize it now!), foyer, gymnasium,
full-service kitchen and classrooms.
In 1989, Rosewood completed an addition that includes the current office area and
expanded entryway and coat room.
In addition, we completed the construction of a separate building for our youth
in the fall of 1994.
More recently, we have completed major renovations on our worship center and lobby
area, including a coat of paint, an expanded stage area, professional lighting,
multi-media system, digital recording, and some comfortable places to sit and chat
before and after worship services. The same kinds of renovations have taken
place in the Youth Center.
Our facilities now include a worship center, two nurseries, a library, an educational
building with a gymnasium and 36 classrooms, an office wing, and a youth building.
We look forward to the next phase of possibilities soon.
