Rosewood Childrens Ministries
Children and Worship
Children are important to the people of Rosewood. Worship
is important to us too. To teach our children what worship
is, a unique experience for children using creative visual
materials is offered throught the school year for children ages
three through the first grade. Children learn to open
their minds to wondering about God's Word through crafts and creative
teaching from the Bible using a variety of materials. The
goal of Children and Worship is not to keep the kids busy while
the adults worship in the Worship Center--this experience seeks
to prepare children for participation in our regular worship services.
Puppet Ministry
Where would our children be without Elmer and the
gang to lead them in both the silly and the sacred? The
puppets are one of those long-standing ministries within our church....in
fact, some members of our Leadership and Management Teams remember
watching the puppets when they were kids! With a love of
puns and the energy of foam products half their age, the puppets
love to minister to our children and would love to welcome your
kids too.
Infant Nursery/Toddler
Nursery
Our nursery consists of two seperate rooms joined by
a dutch door, allowing toddlers and infants to be kept safely
apart. The activities in the Worship Center are broadcast
into the nursery via closed circuit television. We tried
it the other way around, but it just didn't work out.
We have a nursery staff of volunteers who are a blessing and they
will take good care of your children while you worship in the
Worship Center just a few steps away.
WOW! (Worship
on Wednesdays!)
Get ready to worship with upbeat music, righteouss riddles,
and wacky experiments with our own Professor Wow! Our Wednesday
night program for elementary school kids gives kids their own
worship experience in a fun setting with many incentives to bring
their friends. Education As a church that strongly believes
in the life-long education of its members, children, and guests,
we offer a wide variety of educational opportunities to our congregation
and community.
In addition to Lifelong Learning (Sunday School) and WOW (Worship
on Wednesdays) class and events to the children of our community,
Rosewood provides time for adults to learn in a smaller, more
intimate setting than a typical worship service allows.
The content we use is fresh, exciting, and relevant. The
high school classes, for example, are web-based. In addition,
there are a variety of classes offered, including Bible study
and extrabiblical study (networking classes, financial classes,
etc) The offerings change, so be sure to email the
church office to find out what is being offered now!
