ABOUT GOD
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity and the Son of God who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world.
ABOUT THE BIBLE
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that the authors were moved by the Spirit of God to write. Therefore, we believe the Bible is different from all other books – it is the infallible in it’s purpose of showing us God’s nature and the path to life with Christ.
ABOUT HUMANITY
We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have life with him, but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
ABOUT SALVATION
We believe that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin, and his resurrection completes the path for life in harmony with him, both now and in the life to come. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe that through faith we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live in harmony with God and one another. By obedience to God through Scripture and daily submission to his will, every believer should be maturing and conforming to the image of Christ.
ABOUT THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, and the members of the church are those who have made a faith commitment to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The purpose of the church is to live empowered by Christ to reveal his love and reach our communities.
